• Congratulations to the Class of 2019!

    #LAGCCGrad2019

To our graduates, we look forward to your participation in the 2019 commencement exercises as a way of sharing this great accomplishment with your fellow students, family, faculty and staff who have supported you on your journey.

The ceremony will take place on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at the Barclays Center, 620 Atlantic Avenue, Brooklyn, New York.

The ceremony will be approximately four (4) hours.

If you leave Barclays Center at any time on the day of the ceremony, you will not be able to reenter. Once the procession has begun, you may not leave the center. LaGuardia is not responsible for any personal belongings (i.e., bags, strollers, umbrellas, and other miscellaneous items).

Find out everything you need to know about commencement.

ALL GRADUATES MUST REMAIN UNTIL THE END OF THE CEREMONY.

  • TICKETS

As a graduate, you do not need an admission ticket for yourself. Your cap and gown will serve as your admission ticket.

You will be given five (5) tickets for your family and friends on the day your major is assigned to pick up regalia. (See pickup schedule below.) You may request additional tickets at the ticket station. If extra tickets become available, you’ll receive notification through your LaGuardia email on Friday, May 31 with instructions for picking them up.

Due to the volume of requests we receive, we kindly ask that you do not call or email to check on the status of additional tickets.

  • Academic Attire

You will not be allowed to participate in the ceremony without graduation regalia (in other words, a cap and gown). Here’s how you can order the proper attire. You can keep your cap and gown as a souvenir.

Order online now to have your graduation regalia mailed to your home. The cost is $36, plus an additional fee of $15.95.

Purchase your graduation regalia in person in the gymnasium on the date specified below, based on your major. The cost of regalia is $36. Cash, money order and Venmo payments are accepted. Expect to be helped on a first-come, first-served basis.

Pick up your cap and gown from 1:30 to 7 p.m. in the gym according to the dates below.
