Ideal for students who want to receive a strong foundation in the basic areas of business.
The Business Administration Program leads to an Associate in Science (AS) degree, and offers options in Aviation Management and Healthcare Management. The Program is administered by the Business & Technology Department and it is designed to provide a solid foundation for transfer to a senior college. Students will receive a strong foundation in the basic areas of business (management, accounting, finance and marketing) and will complete an internship that will enable them to bridge the gap between classroom theory and practical applications in the business world, and provide valuable experience for choosing a career and subsequent fulltime employment.

The Business administration program at LaGuardia is articulated with senior CUNY colleges. An articulation agreement outlines course credits from LaGuardia that will transfer to a four-year CUNY program. LaGuardia students majoring in Business Administration maximize the number of credits that transfer to four-year colleges such as Baruch and Queens College, where they pursue business degrees such as Business Administration, Finance and Marketing.
