There may be a time when you might feel confused or have questions…when you just don’t know where to go or who to see for answers. It might even be when you’re ready to push boundaries to succeed and just don’t know where to turn. At LaGuardia Community College there will always be a group of dedicated individuals ready to help you find the answer you’re looking for when you need it. Whether you want to talk to us in person, by phone, or by email, we have developed a student support system built on four Centers – four points of contact – to make getting help as simple and as fast as possible for you.
Center for Student Success
The Center for Student Success (CSS) at LaGuardia Community College will help you find answers and connect you to the resources you need to succeed. Meet with friendly, trained professionals who will listen to your concerns and point you in the right direction. We will even make appointments for you to meet with the people on campus who can help you find the answers to your academic, advising, financial, immigration and career questions.
The Center for Student Success is located in C-249.
We will offer extended hours, and you can drop in whenever you need help.
Monday - Thursday: 9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Friday: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Student Information Call Center (SIC)
Whether you are a prospective, current or former student of LaGuardia Community College, the Student Information Center is here to help provide you with direct assistance with referrals to the appropriate offices for registration, advisement, testing, financial aid and the admissions process. We can also assist you with logging into and using important web services, such as the LAGCC and CUNY websites, the CUNY Portal, eSIMS and DegreeWorks.

Welcome Center
For quick in-person service when you’re on the move before, between or after classes, visit one our Welcome Center located in the M-Building/Shenker Hall lobby.

Financial Aid & Registrar Office C-107
If you need infomation about financial aid, registration, or student records, stop by the Financial Aid & Registrar Office located in the C building in room C-107.
