  • Education and Langauge Acquisition Department offers a small range of linguistics courses, including Introduction to Language (ELL101), English Grammar Syntax (ELL110), Normal Language Development (ELL114/HUC114), English Morphology (ELL210), and Introduction to Sociolinguistics (ELL220).

    In these courses, students are introduce to the science of language, which can be applied to careers such as education, computer science, speech therapy and publishing. These courses cover the basics of linguistic theories, prepare students for further study of language-related disciplines, and provide insights into their own language experience.
