Book Advance Program

Spring 2012

All Pell eligible students who submitted their financial aid documentation by February 29th, 2011 may be eligible for a Book Advance check provided there is a balance on record after the deduction of tuition and fees. This will allow you to purchase books at any bookstore you choose. 

 
A check will be generated and mailed to you or directly deposited into your account.  The disbursement schedule is as follows:

February 29th for eligible students with records processed by January 30th, 2012

March 7th for eligible students with records processed by February 21st, 2011

Please note:  A Book Advance check is an advance against your processed Pell award.  A deduction will be made against your Spring 2012 Pell check. For the Spring 2012 Pell disbursement dates please check the financial aid website.

 All eligible students must have:

           1. Completed their 2011-2012 Financial Aid application
           2. Submitted their financial aid documentation by February 29th, 2011
           3. A Pell balance on record
