    RESUME REFERRALS
CCPD knows that you are looking for the best and brightest LaGuardia students and alumni; CCPD can refer them to you. In addition to their academics and leadership, these students have completed extensive professional development through CCPD so we know they are ready for the great opportunities from the employers. If you would like more information regarding resume referrals, please contact Sharon Long, Employment Specialist, at slong@lagcc.cuny.edu or Danny Bernard, Employment Specialist, at dbernard@lagcc.cuny.edu.

    PRE-SCREENED APPLICANTS
Our professional staff will assist your organization in interpreting your requirements to prospective applicants and identifying the ideal candidates to be interviewed.  The name, address, and telephone number of your company and contact person is kept confidential, therefore you receive calls from our professional staff only. At your request, however, applicants will call directly.  Applicants are sent with a referral card to guarantee that they have been screened and referred to you by a CCPD. The referral card is also a fast and cost-effective way to notify the Employment Specialists of the disposition of each interview.

    INTERVIEW ON CAMPUS
We know it can be much easier for employers to interview students on campus. Employers wishing to conduct interviews on-campus for full-time and part-time opportunities may participate in our on-campus recruiting program. The typical interview schedule for an employer in the program will begin at 10:00 a.m. and end at 4:00 p.m.  30-minute interviews will allow 10 candidates per schedule; 45-minute interviews will allow 8 candidates per schedule; 60-minute interviews allow 6 candidates per schedule. All schedules include breaks.

Please contact Danny Bernard at 718-482-5226 or dbernard@lagcc.cuny.edu for further information and to schedule an on-campus interview event.

    INFORMATION SESSIONS

To increase your visibility on campus, we recommend that you conduct an information session. Please contact Sharon Long at 718-482-5974 or slong@lagcc.cuny.edu for further information regarding arranging an information session on campus.
