    Student Clubs & Organizations

    We invite students to get involved with the LaGuardia community by joining a student club or organization! We are accepting applications through Friday, July 24 for Fall 2020 Student Clubs & Organizations' Officers and the Student Advisory Council (SAC) Fall 2020–Spring 2021 Executive Board. This is an excellent way for you to build your LaGuardia network, gain leadership skills and experience and enhance your resume.

    We encourage members of the College community to help in the wake of a crisis. Consider supporting the following organizations that help those who have been impacted by natural disasters, and find about more about CUNY’s efforts.

    If you have been affected by a natural disaster, please look to the resources below for assistance.

    The following organizations accept financial donations and other means of support to assist those who have been impacted by natural disasters.
    • The United Nation Children’s Funds (UNICEF USA) responds to affected communities immediately after disaster strikes. They also collect donations to help children with HIV, the climate change, coronavirus, Ebola, etc.
    • American Red Cross prevents and alleviates human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors.
    • Hispanic Federation (HF) seeks to empower and advance the Hispanic community, support Hispanic families and strengthen Latino institutions through work in education, health, immigration, civic engagement, economic empowerment and the environment.
    • The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), along with its partners, contributes to principled and effective humanitarian response through coordination, advocacy, policy, information management and humanitarian financing tools and services.

    Whether you have been directly or indirectly affected by unforeseen circumstances, these on-campus services provide support during difficult times.
